Congratulations to the 2009-10 Foothill Owls
who made the State Championship's Final 8.
The 2009-10 team finished a tremendous season at 23-8 (ranked #4 in Region, #8 in the State). The Owls were one of the Final 4 North Region qualifiers for the State's Final 8 Championship Event. After six straight years of participating in first , second and third rounds of the State Tournament, the Owls finally broke through to make the Elite 8 this season. Bobby Macias and Marseilles Stewart were both named to the All-State Team.

FAMILY best describes the TEAM experience in the Foothill Men's Basketball program. At Foothill our FAMILY takes pride in our team experience, performance and achievement. This is a direct result of the talented, motivated, selfless, and highly competitive young men that choose Foothill to achieve their immediate and future successes.
Foothill Men's Basketball teams are known for their player-centric style of play - bringing the best out of each individual to create a greater TEAM. Foothill teams are also notorious for their togetherness and toughness on both sides of the ball, for their tremendous character and their continued success on the court (6 straight State play-off appearances) and in the classroom (%98 sophomore transfer rate to four-year institutions) - past players.

Welcome to the Foothill Men's Basketball web site. Foothill Men's Basketball has been under the direction of Head Coach Shanan Rosenberg for the past nine years. In that time the Owls has finished consistently in the top half of the Coast Conference and participated in the State Tournament six of the past seven years.
Most importantly the Owl's Men's Basketball players have had a %98 transfer rate to four-year institutions. "Our mission is to prepare our players to become well-adjusted, confident, respectful young men while reaching their highest potential on the court and in the classroom", says Coach Rosenberg. "I am very proud of our past players who have gone on to attain degrees and have had successful playing careers at a variety of institutions."
