GID Computer Labs and Studios
The Inter Disciplinary Electronic Arts Center is Foothill's showcase for technology
in Fine Arts, serving Music, Video, Photography, Graphic Design and Art. Thirty
state-of-the-art Macintosh large screen workstations with MIDI keyboards, Wacom
drawing tablets, DVD burners, networked to music and video libraries, and 8 high-end
digital printers. Two projections systems and a high-sound system are available
for instructional purposes. The IDEA Center is open 7 days a week during each quarter.

The Krause Center for Innovation is a regional center in Silicon Valley to empower
educators and students to dramatically improve learning outcomes through technology
and the scholarship of learning. GID students have access to both PC and Macintosh
digital media labs. The KCI digital media labs are open 7 days a week during each quarter.
The KCI Digital Art Gallery is a unique "in the round" exhibition space featuring
innovative exhibitions for the public to view.
