Closure of Lot 4
Beginning Friday, February 11, 2011, Parking Lot 4 will be closed for general parking. There will be 52 reserved parking spaces for KCI, and 2 reserved for the Print Shop. The Print Shop will be limited to 20 minute parking. Parking locations within the lot will change based on the phasing of construction. Plans will be published on the website for each phase.

The lot will be unavailable until Fall 2012. As of this writing classes are planned for the new PSEC building, Winter 2013.

Notes-
Construction start and completion dates are subject to change.

Caution -
Construction areas are considered the property of the contractors. Please heed all warning signs and do not enter construction areas.

What is Measure C?

On June 6, 2006, voters in the Foothill-De Anze Community College District's service area approved by a 65.69% margin a $490.8 million bond (Measure C).

This measure will enable the District to:

  • Upgrade electrical, heating, ventilation systems, fire/seismic safety;
  • Repair leaky roofs;
  • Improve disabled access;
  • Repair/expand classrooms;
  • Upgrade technology; and
  • Repair, construct, acquire, equip buildings, classrooms, libraries, sites, science/computer labs.

As in the previous bond measure, the temporary modular buildings will house classrooms and offices from buildings under construction for Measure C. Each quarter a detailed map will be provided which has the locations of relocated classrooms, offices and/or services.
