CSU Transferable Courses
 
  • Foothill Baccalaureate Level Course List ASSIST The list of CSU transferable courses, commonly called the baccalaureate list, identifies all Foothill College courses that are transferable to the CSU. While these courses are transferable minimally as electives, they may or may not be articulated for general education or major preparation. At Foothill College, all approved courses with a course number of 99 or below are CSU transferable.
  • CSU General Education-Breadth (GE) Criteria (pdf, 540KB) The criteria for transferable lower division general education criteria are outlined in CSU Executive Order 1033. Community colleges are invited to submit courses for approval annually (typically in early December). Contact the Articulation officer for processes and deadlines.
  • CSU GE Reviewer's Guide (pdf, 784KB) Worth it's weight in gold, this guide provides insight into the CSU faculty review standards for CCC courses.
  • Foothill CSU GE approved courses ASSIST The list of Foothill courses approved for CSU GE certification is updated annually. Please note the effective and termination date of courses.
  • CSU Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) The list of Foothill courses approved for the IGETC certification is updated annually. For information on submitting courses for approval, please contact the articulation officer. Please note the effective and termination dates.
  • CSU AP Credit Information (pdf, 136KB) Chart showing Advanced Placement and CLEP exams may fill CSU GE or unit requirements
  • CSU Lower Division Transfer Pattern The CSU LDTP is one way students can prepare for transfer to the CSU. Community college courses may be submitted for CSU faculty review and must meet established criteria CST LDTP Course descriptors.
