In that time the Owls has finished consistently in the top half of the Coast Conference and participated in the State Tournament four of the past five years.

Most importantly the Owl's Men's Basketball players have had a %100 transfer rate to four-year institutions. "Our mission is to prepare our players to become well-adjusted, confident, respectful young men while reaching their highest potential on the court and in the classroom", says Coach Rosenberg. "I am very proud of our past players who have gone on to attain degrees and have had successful playing careers at a variety of institutions."

bullet image Coach Rosenberg's Outlook for 2008-09
"With our seasoned sophomores from last season's outstanding team (Mike Weimer 6-5 G/F, Kevin Pusateri 6-3 G/F, Terance Pellum 6-6 C, Kevin Denardi 6-2 G), I look forward to outstanding leadership and championship habits molding our team toward it's potential. I'm very excited for and proud of our sophomores who have worked extremely hard to prepare themselves, both as student-athletes and well-adjusted young adults, for transfer to a four-year institution - our most important legacy."

I am equally thrilled for the redshirt/greyshirt group who worked so hard this past year to prepare for action this season. We add Ben Boyd (FR 6-2 G), Matt Christman (FR 6-3 G), Kristan Ho (SO 6-5 G), Benny Evian (FR 5-10 G), Austin McQuay (FR 6-4 G/F), Josue Gil (SO 6-6 F) and Kent Eubanks (SO 6-6 F) who all redhirted/greyshirted last season - I expect positive contributions from all these guys on and off the floor - they are very capable."

"Foothill Men's Basketball is about developing lasting student-success, athletic potential, strong personal/communal values, and high self/team esteem. We aspire to create positive future opportunities in a fun and challenging environment - where our athletes are guided and encouraged to master the fundamentals of life and basketball. I look forward to giving every committed player the opportunity to grow and thrive in our program."
