Owls Stadium has 200 stadium seats in addition to grass seating. The stadium was built with surround speakers for music and public address. It is a state-of-the-art turf field including skinned dirt fines pitching circle, batter's box, bullpen, and batting cages. Dugouts are a facsimile of many Major League Baseball dugouts including 2 tier benches, helmet cubbies, and bat holders.

Cited by the San Francisco Chronicle as "the most beautiful community college ever built", Foothill College is truly one of a kind.  Located in Los Altos Hills, the 122 acre Foothill College campus lays nestled in the surrounding foothills. When founded Time Magazine referred to Foothill College as a “mountaintop among U.S. junior colleges.” Foothill College continues to be one of the top community colleges in California both athletically and academically.  Serving a student population of over 18,000, Foothill offers over 70 degree programs and an additional 39 certificate programs.  And with a 81% student-athlete transfer rate, Foothill continues to be in a class of it’s own.

After a few years of instability the Foothill softball program was put on hiatus.  However with the hire of Collin Pregliasco along with the hard work and dedication of the athletic department and entire coaching staff, Foothill softball looks to reestablish itself as one of the top community college softball programs in California.

Our program is run like a D1 program.  We expect a lot out of our players, while we expect to give our players just as much in return.  Our program is a year-round program that includes an extensive off-season program that consists of on field practices in addition to speed, strength, and agility training.  Our schedule consists of 40 games including numerous tournaments across the state.

We also have some of the best facilities in the state.  Facilities include a softball team room where we review practice and game film and have pre/post game meetings, a state-of-the art training room where players get worked on before and after practices and games by two full time trainers and numerous assistant trainers, an athletic weight room, an athletic learning center, and we are currently in the process of planning a new softball stadium.

Our program philosophy is to develop the whole person, not just the athlete.  We ensure that our players better themselves athletically as well as academically and socially.  Our goal is to transfer each of our players to attend and play at a four year university.

Foothill College has a full time athletic advisor just for our athletes.  With her help, athletes can lay out an education plan that fits their academic and athletic goals.  Whether it is to finish general education classes and transfer to a four year university, attain an A.A. degree, or finish a high-demand career program, Laurie Bertani will ensure that you meet your goals.

Our coaching staff is looking for those highly dedicated and competitive players to continue the great tradition of Foothill softball.  We hope you choose us as your academic and athletic institution.
