Foothill College

Owen Flannery was honored with the 2008 Coast Conference Coach of the Year award. The team went 15 wins, 4 losses and 2 ties in 2008 and won the Coast Conference Championship for the first time in over two decades. Owen started coaching the Foothill College women’s soccer team in 2007.

Menlo College

Coach Flannery spent the 2003-2006 seasons transforming the Menlo College women’s soccer program. The year before he arrived at Menlo College the teams record was 0-15. In just four years the team was able to improve their record to 42-28-5 and they won three consecutive California Pacific Conference Championships. Coach Flannery was again honored by being voted Coach of the Year in both 2004 and 2005.

Club

Owen is the Director of Coaching for the Alpine FC soccer club based out of the Portola Valley and Woodside area. As a club coach Owen’s teams have won three California State Cup Championships, two with the DeAnza Force soccer Club and one with Central Valley Mercury.
