Program and Team InformationReturning players for 2005 Megan Biser player in goal for the owls in 2004 and made some courageous saves. Megan’s best attribute is her ability to lead and her strong work ethic. Megan is the third Biser to play soccer at Foothill College and her sister Alli will be a freshman for the team this season. Megan played her high school soccer at Newark Memorial.Pamela Bianchi had a stellar 2004 season at right back. She possesses tremendous speed and toughness. Pamela is a true competitor and loves to win. Pam went to Mountain View High School before coming to Foothill College. Vera Panozo will be entering her second season as a starter at left back. Vera played her high school soccer at Woodside and was the Owls most improved player in 2004. Vera also is an accomplished badminton player. Kimberli Snydey played sweeper at Lynbrook High School but Coach Liner moved her to midfield during her freshman year at Foothill. Kim likes to go forward and look for players breaking to goal. Gaelin Findley attended Cal Poly San Luis after graduating from Palo Alto High School. After completing her freshman year she came to Foothill and ran the left side of the field. Because of some injury problems to the Owls, Gaelin finished the season at sweeper. Jenna Smith shares a similar story to Gaelin. Jenna also went to Palo Alto High School and then to U.C.L.A. After realizing southern cal wasn’t for her she decided to play at Foothill College. Jenna played in midfield and up front for the Owls in 2004. Jenna is a complete player with a great work rate. Mami Kobayashi is an international student from Japan studying international business. Mami plays forward and has great goal scoring instincts. Mami is a hard worker and always fights to win possession of the ball. New Players Judy Ocampo won the C.C.S. Division 1 championship as the goalkeeper for the Carlmont Scotts last year. Judy is an athletic keeper who can cover a lot of ground. We look forward to Judy doing great things at Foothill College. Sydney Wersching also played at Carlmont and will make big contributions in midfield for the Owls. Sophie Aung has already completed one year at Foothill College yet this will be her first season with the team. Sophie stared at Gunn High School before attending Foothill College. Her field vision and stamina will be an important part of the Owls play. Fabiola Camey is persuing a career as a personal trainer and making big improvements in soccer skills. Fabiola attended Menlo Atherton High School. Kristina Casazza is a recent graduate of Hilldale High. Aside from being an accomplished soccer player Kristina is also a dedicated cheerleader. Nicole Keller is an international student from Germany. Nicole is a great athlete and has participated in a number of sports including team handball. She has the ability to read the field and create scoring opportunities. Alli Biser a recent graduate from Newark Memorial and forth of the Bisers to play at Foothill College will strengthen the Owls midfield. Coach Liner sees Alli as a complete player with a great attitude. Aleks Van Loggerenberg will be a offensive threat will quickness and speed. Kasey Gilford will join the owls this year and Coach Liner is very excited to see playing on the wing. Kasey has everything one looks for in a soccer player.
