About the Emergency Medical Technology Program
The program requires 6 months didactic work (2 quarters) consisting of EMT 304 (part A)
and EMT 305 (part B). EMT 304 is 5 units, and EMT 305 is 5.5 units. There is also a
Health 55 (Emergency Response) prerequisite class which might be required,
depending on the applicant's background. All classes are held at the Foothill
College Middlefield Campus in Palo Alto.
