Legal Counseling
legal service

Currently-enrolled students can make appointments to receive legal consultation at the Foothill (FH) or Middlefield (MF) Campuses. This FREE service is available to students with the payment of the current quarter's student ID, called the OwlCard.

Consultations and referrals are provided on many legal matters except student vs. student and student vs. college matters. Frequent issues involve landlord/tenant disputes, leases, traffic tickets, employer/employee disputes, consumer problems, etc. Law career counseling is available, also.

Appointments are available on specific days only. Visit or call the Foothill College Student Activities Office or the Middlefield Student Resource Center for specific legal calendar and location, and to schedule a 15-minute appointment with the lawyer.

Please Note: Legal Counseling is offered during fall, winter and spring quarters. Service is not available during the summer quarter. Schedule is subject to change every quarter.
