The Career Development Conference is designed to prepare students for the next level of advancement in their career. Participants will develop their leadership potential, learn tips for effective communication, learn how to effectively work on teams, and identify their positive contributions to the workplace. Job seekers, especially students and young professionals, need an added boost to be competitive in California's workforce. The saying, "You only get one chance to make a good first impression" is so relevant in today's competitive job market. Communication and Team work are two key skills that employers look for when making a hiring decision.

The Career Development Conference begins with free lunch at noon and a keynote presentation.

From 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., you can attend workshops presented by experienced leaders and business executives. Workshop topics include Teambuilding Skills, Digital Resumes & Personal Branding, and Successful Interviewing. Please download the agenda for more information and room locations.
