Foothill is host to the beautiful and modern Krause Center for Innovation (KCI), located on the northwest corner of campus next to the observatory. Foothill technology trainer Kathy Fransham now calls the KCI home and still teaches technology workshops for educators in the Macintosh and Windows PC computer classrooms there. Other instructors teach workshops as well, and all are open to the general public as well as Foothill-De Anza faculty and staff. Many of the workshops are geared to K-12 teachers, but check the current schedule of classes to see if there's something for you. (And don't forget that you can use district Educational Assistance to be reimbursed for the course fees).

Free and low-cost technology training is available to staff at any of California's community colleges through an organization known as "@One." De Anza College used to administer the grant that makes this training possible, but it is now administered by Yosemite Valley Community College.
