- Preparing Students for Silicon Valley
We train students to thrive
in Silicon Valley by teaching the technology being researched and developed in our back yard.
Nanoscience, bioinformatics and geographic information systems are just three of the
cutting-edge career programs we offer.
- Computers, Technology & Information Systems
Oracle partners with
us to provide the Database Management Program to prep students for Oracle Database
Administrator exams. We host a Microsoft IT Academy and SUSE Linux is a training partner
too. Our career training internships place qualified students at top companies in the
valley, and those same companies value our graduates.
- Health Care
Foothill's Biological & Health Sciences Division
is proud of its career program graduates' successes. 100% of Radiologic Technology graduates
have been hired in hospitals, clinics or imaging centers within six months of graduation.
Foothill's Dental Hygiene Program consistently ranks in the top 5 percent in the United
States. Students in this program achieve 100% pass rates on both state and national board
exam scores.
- Music Technology
Part of the largest and most comprehensive arts technology program
on the West Coast, Foothill's Music Technology Program has sent graduates to work with Neil
Young, R.E.M., Third Eye Blind, Polygram Records, Digidesign and Microsoft, to name a few.
Students study and get hands-on training in a one of the best equipped, state-of-the-art
facilities in the country - the Inter Disciplinary Electronic Arts Center. Student enter a
real-world, hands on training ground in a new media classroom with 30 full Pro Tools®,
Reason® and MIDI keyboard-equipped stations, along with extensive audio, video and listening
libraries.
