What is Foothill's Smoke-Free Campus Policy?
As the result of a November 2004 survey of all students and employees, and the work of a district-wide committee, the Foothill-DeAnza Community College District Board of Trustees approved a revised
non-smoking areas policy on June 20, 2005.
In order to provide a safe learning and working environment for students and employees, smoking is prohibited in all indoor and outdoor campus locations, with the exception of designated areas.
Where Is Smoking Allowed on the Foothill Main Campus?
At Foothill College, smoking is allowed only in specifically designated areas identified on the campus map below. Look for a table with a red flag in the specified parking lots and behind building 1200. Smoking is not allowed at any entrance to the campus.

Disposal of Cigarette Butts
CIGARETTE BUTTS ARE LITTER! If you are a smoker, please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground in the smoking areas. Throw cigarette butts (and other trash) away at the nearest smoking or trash receptacle. Take pride in our beautiful campus and help keep it clean, safe and beautiful.
