Honors Scholars are given priority consideration for admission to the College of Letters and Science. We are one of only a handful of northern California  community colleges participating in the prestigious UCLA Transfer Alliance Program (also known as T.A.P.). Foothill Honors Institute has a  85-95% acceptance rate versus 45% of all other transfer applicants.(International students and applicants for impacted majors are not guaranteed priority admission consideration, but may be admitted to a second major if prerequisites have been met.)
