You can audition to be the student speaker at the 52nd Annual Foothill College Commencement Ceremony. The deadline to submit all audition materials is May 2 at 5 p.m. Auditions in front of a panel of judges are May 7. The ceremony is Friday, June 29, at 6 p.m.

Your speech should be five minutes in length. To be eligible to speak at commencement, you must have completed the college's official petition to graduate process with a Foothill College counselor and be approved to graduate by May 1, 2012.

You must submit a complete packet of audition materials by the deadline that must include:
* one-page summary of your speech;
* one-page biography; and
* your name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, and the best time to contact you.

Submit your complete packet of materials by e-mail or in person to Bill Frankeberger in the Student Affairs Office (Room 2002) by May 2 at 5 p.m. If selected to audition in front of a panel of judges, you will be notified of audition time and location.
