Get your hands on history, archaeology and cultural exchange in the Ecuadorian Andes this summer when you participate in a Foothill College study abroad program. Learn how you can earn college units and participate in the
Ecuador program by attending a free orientation session
Wednesday, May 16. All orientations meet at
noon and again at 6 p.m. in Room 3103. You need only attend one orientation session. Admission is free and the public is invited; parking is $3.
In addition to coursework, field trips and service learning projects,
Foothill's Anthropology Department is sending a research team to investigate the Inca in July. No prior experience of anthropology is necessary.
Sam Connell, Ph.D., continues his investigation of the Inca fortresses of Ecuador.
Students of all ages and abilities will live with the research team and work on all aspects of the research project, including archaeological survey and excavation, and community development activities.
