Foothill College Fall Quarter 2013 classes begin the week of Sept. 23 and continue through Dec. 13 unless otherwise noted in the searchable class schedule that's now posted online. California residents pay $31 per unit plus basic fees for Foothill classes; fees are due at the time you register. Review more important registration dates and deadlines.
Continuing Students (you were enrolled in spring courses at Foothill College) register online for Fall Quarter July 22–Sept. 22. Review your date to register, register for courses and pay fees by accessing your MyPortal.fhda.edu account. Your date to register is based on the number of units you have completed at Foothill College.
Avoid Being Dropped for Non-Payment of Fees—Be aware that the Foothill College is changing how it processes the college's payment plan for tuition and fees, beginning Sept. 3. Payment in full is due when you register for your Foothill classes, and when you add subsequent Foothill classes.
Effective Sept. 3, students who have not paid registration fees will be dropped for nonpayment every night. You will be dropped for nonpayment unless you have either a Quarterly Payment Plan in place or your fees are paid in full. To be eligible for the installment payment plan, you must not owe any fees from previous quarters at either Foothill or De Anza colleges
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will be able to directly enroll in the Quarterly Payment Plan for tuition and fees through your MyPortal.fhda.edu account beginning Sept. 3. You will also have the option to pay with a credit or debit card, as well as your checking or savings account. Be aware that there is now a $25 processing fee to enroll in the Quarterly Payment Plan.
When you pay your tuition and fees in full at the time of registration, you do not pay the processing fee.
You Are Responsible for Dropping Your Classes: If you choose not to attend your class(es), you are responsible for initiating the official drop process, and notifying your instructor(s) and the Admissions & Records Office (Room 8101). Failure to officially drop classes will result in assessed enrollment fees for which you are financial responsible as well as failing grades on your college transcript.
