Presented by Foothill College Dental Hygiene Program; Earn Continuing Education Units
The Foothill College Dental Hygiene Program
will host an oral cancer symposium Saturday, Oct. 13, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
in Room 5015 at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills. Admission is $25 for students.

or (650) 723-4400
, or e-mail Sixdrapers@aol.com
The Foothill symposium brings together experts in head and neck cancers, as well as one survivorís life-changing story chronicling her cancer journey through diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
According to Draper, an estimated 40,250 people will be diagnosed with a head and neck cancer this year in the U.S. By the end of 2012, more than 7,800 a people will have died from their oropharyngeal cancers. These frightening numbers are the reason that students enrolled in the popular Dental Hygiene Program have organized Foothill's Annual Oral Cancer Awareness Walk
fundraiser which is set for April 13 at 9 a.m.
Parking Lots 5 and 6 provide closest access to the symposium in Room 5015. Parking is $3; purchase required permit from dispensers in any student lot.
