If you intend to apply to a UC campus this fall, then you need to complete each of the following three steps: STEP ONE Register for and attend a free TAG information workshop at Foothill. There is no fee for this workshop. Review TAG information workshop meet days/times and locations, and register online for the one that best meets your schedule at Pre-registration is required to attend a session. In each UC TAG information session, in addition to finding out if you qualify, a transfer counselor will also advise you on strategies to successfully fill out the TAG application to include the right coursework, enabling you to save time and money. Be aware that the final deadline to submit your TAG is Sept. 30; attend a workshop to get your questions answered in time. If you've attended any other college besides Foothill or De Anza, you must bring unofficial copies of your transcripts to the information session. In addition, if you completed any advanced placement (AP) tests in high school, you will need to bring copies of those test scores. STEP TWO Follow up with a counseling appointment only if you have not been working with a counselor or if you have significantly changed your education plan since your last counseling appointment. Schedule counseling appointments online or by phone at (650) 949-7423. If you have been working with a counselor and know what courses to take to finish your transfer plan through next year, you do not need to meet with a counselor at this time to discuss your TAG; however, you should plan to meet with your counselor during the academic year. Counseling appointments are very limited and should be reserved for students who need assistance to meet eminent deadlines. STEP THREE For short counseling questions about your UC TAG, visit the Foothill Transfer Center (Room 8329) during the following assigned times:
  • Monday through Wednesday, Sept. 24-26, 9 a.m. to noon; 1 to 3 p.m.
