It's easier than ever to cast your vote*ójust bring your completed ballot to the Foothill campus and deposit it in the official vote-by-mail ballot box that's securely attached to the flag pole adjacent to the Administration Building (Building 1900). The ballot box will remain on campus through Nov. 6. If you're a Santa Clara County voter, you can track the status of your vote-by-mail ballot online at the Registrar of Voters website. The on-campus official ballot box is just one of the activities in the get-out-the-vote campaign headed up by the Associated Students of Foothill College and the college's Students Affairs & Activities Offices. You can also access a guide for finding information related to the 2012 elections. For more information, call or e-mail Foothill College Student Affairs & Activities Dean Patricia Hyland, M.A., at (650) 949-7389 or HylandPat@foothill.edu. *Only ballots for voters registered in Santa Clara County can be accepted at the on-campus ballot box. Please do not deposit ballots from other counties as they will be declared invalid, not counted and destroyed. The ballot box is locked at all times and opened only by county elections officials. The box is delivered to the on-campus flag pole site each weekday morning and then removed and stored in a secure location overnight and weekends.
