Accreditation Follow-Up Site Visit Oct. 24
The accreditation of Foothill College was reaffirmed by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges of the Accrediting Commission for Community & Junior Colleges in February 2012 with the condition that the college complete a Follow-Up Report addressing four recommendations contained in the evaluation report. A site visit by members of our 2011 evaluation team would then follow the submission of the Follow-Up Report. After several months of work and participation among many campus stakeholders, the Foothill College Follow-Up Report for Reaffirmation of Accreditation
was submitted to ACCJC Oct. 15, 2012. Download and read follow-up report by accessing the Foothill College Accreditation 2012 website

Please welcome the site evaluation team members and know that many in our college community will be involved in meetings on Oct. 24 that are related to the Follow-Up Report as we share the progress that has been made in the last year related to our college fully meeting all the accreditation standards.
"The most important outcomes of the self-evaluation process are what the institution learns about itself and the steps it takes to improve teaching and learning," says Commission President Barbara A. Beno, Ph.D. "We hope that this effort has produced useful information for the continued development of Foothill College."
