Get dirty and help out in Foothill's organic garden. Stay for a short time or a few hours--whatever works for your schedule. Work parties will meet in the on-campus organic garden which is located in the far east (back) corner of Parking Lot 3 past the end of the solar panels on Friday, Nov. 2, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. We need your help for several DIY projects, including cleaning up the garden and spreading mulch to keep down weeds over winter. Anyone can join in. Wear your grubby clothes, closed-toe shoes and a hat. Bring sunscreen, water, gloves and tools. This event is part of the Foothill College Sustainability/Sustainable Learning Community Project.
