Find out how the Foothill College Child Development Program can lead to a rewarding career working with children and families. Attend the program's orientation and information session Friday, May 3, from 6 to 7 p.m. in Room J-7 at the Foothill College Middlefield Campus in Palo Alto. Admission and parking are free.
Foothill's Child Development Program is designed for people who are new to the child development field, as well as for those who are experienced child development professionals. Summer Session is an ideal time to begin the program, or to complete the courses you'll need to begin the program.
Child Development Orientation Night highlights include an introduction to CARES (a financial stipend program for students) and a presentation about accessing the financial resources to pay for college such as the state's CDTC. Additional orientation activities will give you the opportunity to meet one to one with program faculty and students, tour campus facilities, and learn more about program requirements, application process, admissions and financial aid.
