ACCESSIBILITY
W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), in partnership with organizations around the world, is pursuing accessibility of the Web through five complementary activities: ensuring that the core technologies of the Web support accessibility; developing guidelines for page authoring, user agents, and authoring tools; developing evaluation and repair tools for accessibility; conducting education and outreach; and tracking research and development that can affect the future accessibility of the Web. The WAI International Program Office is supported in part by funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education's National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, European Commission's DG XIII Telematics Applications Programme for Disabled and Elderly, the Government of Canada, IBM, Lotus Development Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, and NCR. Each of the web pages contained on the Foothill College site is verified and corrected as needed to meet W3C, ADA and Section 508 Compliance. All of the pages that use the same type of design as this page have been tested and are fully compliant with these rules and regulations.
If you encounter a page that you believe does not conform to the W3C/ADA inititive, please send us an email that contains the url of the offending page. Once notified, we will resolve any outstanding or non compliant pages within 2 business days of email notification.
