CONTINUING STUDENTS
You are a continuing student if you were registered at Foothill College last quarter.

Continuing students register, add or drop classes.

NEW & FORMER STUDENTS
You are a new student if you have never attended Foothill College.

You are a former student if you have attended Foothill College in the past but were not registered last quarter.

Registration steps for new and former students:

1. Complete the application for admission.
2. Take placement tests for ESL, English, math and chemistry.
3. Select courses from the class schedule. New students seeking degrees or transfer must register for Counseling 50 (CNSL 50) Orientation to College.
4. Register for, add or drop courses and pay fees.

ESL STUDENTS
ESL Students, visit the ESL site for additional information and support services.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
If you are a currently enrolled high school junior or senior, you may take classes with permission from a parent/guardian and your high school principal. Download the Permission Form. For more information, contact your high school counselor, visit the Foothill High School site, or call the Foothill College Outreach Office at (650) 949-7423.
