Student Learning Outcomes -
  • Demonstrate with increased proficiency the skills necessary for the full golf swing, the chip shot and putting stroke
  • Demonstrate proper etiquette and knowledge of rules for golf course play
Description -
Introduces the fundamentals of the golf swing, knowledge of equipment, terminology and course etiquette.

Course Objectives -
  1. Understand the rules and terminology of golf.
  2. Acquire knowledge on the history of the game.
  3. Discussion, introduction and explanation of golf equipment
  4. Develop basic skills of proper posture, grip, and alignment.
  5. Introduction to proper etiquette of golf.
  6. Forms of learning and acquiring skills to play golf
