| Intermediate/advanced tennis for competitive play includes covering drills, advanced strategies, techniques and rules.

| 2. Course Objectives - |
| The student will be able to:
- identify the rules and etiquette for competitive play.
- demonstrate increased knowledge in the tennis forehand, backhand, and serving/return skills.
- develop a marked increase in performance skills for smashing, volleying, lobbing and net play.
- analyze different strategies for singles and doubles play.
- practice drill techniques for conditioning.
- value tennis as a lifelong learning activity for physical fitness.
