Outreach & Retention specialists spend time at surrounding high schools and community agencies promoting interest in Foothill College. In addition to outside commitments, they have on-campus specialties.

Emphasis: Student Services Triage
MariaElena serves as a primary contact in the Student Success Center, providing information to students and also serving in a triage role, identifying and assessing needs and acting in a referral capacity to college resources and student services.  In conjunction with the Office of Student Activities, she provides leadership and oversight to the Foothill Ambassador Program.

Maisha is responsible for our campus-based retention program, Early Alert, and coordinates the Mfumo Program.
