COVID-19 Omicron Update

As of 7/1/2022

Foothill College is offering both in-person and virtual classes and student services in Summer 2022 . The summer quarter started on June 27, 2022.

While we understand the concerns around the Omicron variant of COVID, the college demonstrated that it could operate in-person classes safely in 2020 and 2021. Per Santa Clara County Public Health Director, Dr. Sara Cody, in-person learning supports students emotional and mental health better than virtual instruction.  We want to empower students by allowing them to choose the learning modality that works best for them.

Foothill College is closely following Santa Clara County guidelines and will communicate with the Foothill community on a regular basis as the COVID situation and changing County and State mandates require.
