Summer Classes
Most summer classes run six weeks July 1–Aug. 8.
We offer a few summer late-start classes that are specific to programs.

- Note: Drop dates vary during summer term. Please see Your Class Schedule in MyPortal for last day to drop for a refund, with no record of grade, or a "W."
COVID-19 UpdateEffective July 1, 2023, Foothill no longer requires proof of vaccination for on-campus classes and masking is no longer highly encouraged. However, students must still report a COVID-19 infection to Foothill directly. We ask that you stay home if you do not feel well and inform the college if you have been on campus and subsequently been diagnosed with COVID. See details here. |

- Fridays: Campus closed through Aug. 30
- Monday, Sept. 2: Campus Closed for Labor Day Holiday

Foothill College Promise (Free Tuition)
First-time, full-time students (12 units or more) are eligible to have the cost of tuition and fees fully paid for their first two years at Foothill College, except for summer session. Learn more.

Parking Permits Not Required for Summer 2024
Parking will be free in the Foothill and Sunnyvale campus parking lots for Summer 2024.
NOTE: Citations will be given for vehicles parked out of the normal parking spaces, in handicap spaces without a display placard, and in red zones.

Steps to RegisterHow to Add a Class
College Kickstart Days: Your Path to SuccessThursday, July 25 or Monday, July 29, 20249 a.m.—3 p.m. in the Library Quad, on either day! Please join us if you are a new or continuing student who has yet to complete all steps for priority registration. Get started with your transition to college and staying on track with your educational goals. Attend one of our College Kickstart Days enrollment workshops to register for fall classes! |
